General Order 197 (2) has been declared to be inapplicable to officers whose salaries have been revised

The issue of a as a result of the Salaries Commission. revised Order to cover such cases is awaiting the new edition of General Orders but the approved scale of passages for officers on revised salaries is as follows:

1st Class

"A" Grade

1st Class

"B" Grade

2nd Class Tourist.

Officers drawing a basic salary of $1600 a month and over.

holders of

Members of the Unified Services; offices normally occupied by professional officers

and holders of or officers of equivalent status;

offices the initial basic salary of which is not less than $1,080 a month. Officers of the Senior Executive Grade of the General Clerical Service are also to be regarded of this Class.

Other offices the initial basic salaries of which are less than $1,080 a month and more than $140 a month. Women members of the General Clerical Service, mid-wives and mortuary assistants are also to be regarded as of this class.
